We started to notice that demand for our bracelets was falling in school and so we were desperate to start selling outside school. Jehona called her siblings school who were holding a fair the coming weekend, and we were lucky enough to be allowed to sell. We sold one of the two days at the fair.
It was a long cold day, from 10 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon but it was worth it as we sold a lot! We sold a total of 81 bracelets, and made roughy 260 francs. We lowered the prices from the usual because there was many young kids at the fair that we wanted to appeal to. Even though sales were slow at times it was completely worth it selling at the fair because you're there for a longer amount of time, and lots of people are coming through. This project will last into next year, and so it's important we don't exhaust our market at school too quickly.
As there are only two school weeks, and one exam week left before winter break, we will sell the bracelets we have left this coming Thursday to hopefully reach 600 francs before winter break. During Winter Break we will continue to make bracelets so that we can continue selling at school, and hopefully other markets in the new year!
